The assembly line is a critical component of Midwest Industries, as it allows for the efficient and streamlined manufacturing of our trailer line. Its workers are highly skilled at performing tasks quickly and accurately. Without their dedication, Midwest would not be able to produce trailers on such a large scale with great quality. Thanks to the assembly line for keeping our customers happy for almost 70 years!
The paint line team is a great asset to the company. They have demonstrated impressive levels of skill and dedication, often going the extra mile to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. Going through several changes on the line including new technologies, color changes, increased demand, they are reliable, hardworking, and efficient, making them an invaluable part of the team.
The Loading Team is made up of great folks who are meticulous in providing a positive customer experience with every single shipment they handle. They are the last employees to see our product and understand the importance of delivering shipments on time, damage free, and intact. Their knowledge and skillsets make them a valuable resource for Midwest Industries and our customers.
As hydraulic lifts and accessories have become approximately 50% of Midwest Industries output, these folks have seen a giant increase in demand and have managed it all with great effort and attitude. Teamwork is a must in a small footprint and ShoreStation executes everyday and helps Midwest succeed. They love to celebrate each others accomplishments and they're pretty good cooks too!
Welcome to Shoreland’r Tennessee (SLTN). We are nestled in the foothills of the great Smoky Mountains where we start each summer day with breathtaking views and a reminder that we are blessed to call East Tennessee our home and Midwest Industries, Inc., our out-of-town family. Although we’re a small location, we service our OEMs with great pride in our work!
They spread out and get things done! 2nd Shift is tasked with catching us up, running hot orders, and helping Midwest manage capacity. They have grown from a handful of folks to a real force for Midwest Industries. Currently, 2nd shift works in Drill, Fabrication, ShoreStation, Welding, and some Assembly operations. 2nd shift has spearheaded many material handling projects and other special projects. They also do other off-peak tasks like clean aluminum and paint lines. Their Team Leader is Blaine Zupp. Blaine came to Midwest from a long tenure at Blue Bunny.

For over 60 years, the Fabrication Department at Midwest Industries has been at the heart of fabricating trailer and hoist parts from scratch by cutting, stamping, bending, and punching raw steel and aluminum. They work closely with other teams, especially Welding and ShoreStation.
